6th Annual Venice Mega Music Festival

Singer Jimmy ROLAND Featured Performer at Venice Music Fest!
RnB/Pop/Dance music artist, songwriter and actor Jimmy Roland, will be a featured performer at the 2014 Venice Mega Music Fest in Venice, Ca. Jimmy Roland is best known for his songs ‘Got To Be Real’, ‘Partners For Life’, and ‘My Jamaica’. Roland has share billing with Patti La Belle, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Village People and KC and the Sunshine Band to name a few.

The year 2013 was a great one for Roland in terms of being acknowledged for some of his works. His self-penned ‘My Jamaica’ was licensed to the government of Jamaica after they’d heard it on YouTube and contacted Jimmy and his attorneys. The song was used at a major convention in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Also in June of 2013, Roland received an email from the New York Huffington Post informing him that his contribution to the Gay Community of his wedding song ‘Partners For Life’, had caused the song to be listed in the publications June 25 ‘13 edition as one of their Top 34 Pride Anthems of 2013.
In this 2014 summer tour which Roland is calling his ‘Luck 13 Tour’ ( for obvious reasons), Roland is promoting his dance track “Backseat Driver (Circle Of Love) which is a collaboration work with his Italy-based producer Dr. Kmer. Joining Jimmy Roland on-stage for this performance will be the return of Jimmy Roland’s former background singers Niña and Diane, The Williams Sisters.

The festival will be for two days (August 28 & 29, 2014) right by the Pacific Ocean in Venice, Ca. Admission is free and there will be food from around the world, a beer garden, countless vendors, a fashion show and around 50 music acts. 250,000 is the total expected attendance as this two-day event which is promoted by fx3events. Sponsors include, LA Times, Radio Disney, Buick, Chevrolet, Ford and so many others.
