City officials stressed that public safety is their top priority and urged anyone with photos, video, or information to contact the West Hollywood station.
3. Keegan Allen says he was robbed at gunpoint, knifepoint in LA: 'My life for a watch' (mycentraloregon.com) — A man was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint outside a grocery store in West Hollywood, with the attackers stealing his watch and leaving him with a forehead injury. Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station responded around 9 p.m., and investigators are asking anyone with information about the two suspects, who fled in an unknown vehicle, to contact detectives.
5. Judge Rules Influencer Accused of Dating-App Thefts Competent to Stand Trial (iheart.com) — A judge has ruled that an influencer accused of stealing from people she met on dating apps is competent to stand trial, in a case that includes alleged victims in West Hollywood as well as nearby cities. Prosecutors say she posed as a girlfriend or travel companion to access homes and take cash, jewelry, and designer goods, with potential prison time exceeding 11 years if convicted.
