West Hollywood resident Brandyn Barbara Artis is Harper’s Bazaar and Estee Lauder “Fabulous at Every Age” grand prize winner.

West Hollywood resident Brandyn Barbara Artis is the “Fabulous at Every Age” grand prize winner. The actress, a breast cancer awareness advocate was feted by Estee Lauder spokesmodel Elizabeth Hurley and Harper's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Glenda Bailey, friends and guests at the Hearst Tower in New York City on April 12, 2011.

In January, the magazine announced a search for America's chicest women.  Ms. Artis was among five finalist women chosen nationwide within the ages of 20 to 60-plus.  Ms. Artis sashayed elegantly and eternally chic to the podium to accept the grand prize from Elizabeth Hurley, she breathlessly said, “This is ridiculously sublime.  I am an involuntary member of a sisterhood that needs reminding that you can indeed be fabulous in spite of it all”.

"Brandyn embodies everything we believe in at Harper's Bazaar: Her personal style and timeless chic are apparent from the first moment you meet her, but beyond her elegant exterior, she is an accomplished, courageous woman," said Bailey. Brandyn was described by a friend as a "wife, mother, grandmother, breast cancer survivor, lobbyist/cancer awareness advocate, playwright, actress, U.S. Air Force veteran, all with grace and elegance."

Winners will be featured in an upcoming edition of the magazine.
