Weho Business Spotlight: MikiSharon Hair Salon [VIDEO]
The full service hair salon located at 642 North Robertson Blvd. was founded by three Israeli brothers in 1992.
One of the best things about West Hollywood is the diversity of its people, culture and businesses. Recently, I visited a cool West Hollywood hair salon, MikiSharon, started by three Israeli brothers.
Owner and stylist Slama Sharon cut, colored and highlighted my hair with "cutting edge" techniques. He's more than a stylist, he's an artist (and part scientist!).
Not only was I impressed with his expertise, I was also fascinated by his backstory. He and brother Yoel studied and trained in Paris and London before returning to Israel to open their first salon with brother Miki. After the success of their first salon, they opened a second in Chicago, and finally a third here in West Hollywood.

Perhaps what struck me most, however, was Sharon's commitment to supporting his fellow entrepreneurial neighbors, not to mention the entire West Hollywood community. Yet one more reason West Hollywood is such a fascinating — and fantastic — place to live and work.
