Crimes Against Children Task Force Searches Singer Gene Simmons' Home
A search warrant executed by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit did not name the KISS singer or his family as suspects.
Police today searched the Benedict Canyon area home of rocker Gene Simmons.
The search was conducted about 8 a.m. by the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit, said Lt. John Jenal of the Los Angeles Police Department’s media relations office.
“The Simmons family was extremely cooperative,” said Jenal. “The search warrant is strictly for evidence.

Neither Simmons nor his family members are suspects in the case at this time, said Jenal, adding that he had no other immediate information.
