We would like to invite you to our upcoming reception for local artist Christina Matalon. Christina is a classically trained German artist whose spectrum of work reaches both the two dimensional as well as three dimensional planes. Her works have been displayed in shows across Europe as well as locally in Los Angeles, where she currently resides. Reflections presented at the BOA Art Gallery on Monday, April 2nd will display a collection of vibrant oil paintings whose palate of colors are drawn from the most brilliant facets of the rainbow, exquisitely compliment her gorgeous sculptures of the female form. Matalon has mastered the ability of maintaining form within her works while producing totally abstract imagery that is incredibly stimulating to the viewer. The paintings shared mirror the cyclic, flowing energy that is life, which is constantly at peace, constantly conflicted, and constantly growing. Wine and cheese will be served at the reception on April 2nd, at 7:00PM. The show will be open to the public for three weeks. See you there!
