The park is intended to be a passive neighborhood park.
The area is intended to be used for quiet reflection and provide an escape from urban living.

The home on the property, built in 1914, is in the Colonial revival architectural style, and is shaded by a forest of trees and dozens of tropical shrubs.
The Grand Opening and dedication of the park is scheduled for Saturday, February 19, at 10:30 AM. Everyone is welcome.
