Neva and Alessandro are two very talented artists from Italy whose paintings are truly unique in both their beauty and method. The pair met in a University class, where they were studying to become psychologists, and became friends until the course was over. They parted ways, only to find each other again seven years later living in different cities, and they knew it was meant to be. After they fell in love and were married, the two began to dwindle away from psychology the more they discovered how passionate they were about painting. After deciding to leave their work in therapy, the two set off to travel the world, spending time in fourteen different countries, before finally settled down in Los Angeles, California, USA. The incredible technique that makes their work special is that they occupy the same canvas at the same time, working together as one and the result is a spectacular vision of colors and lines and shapes that resonate with their love for art, and their love for each other. The Colors of Joy is a series of oil paintings of vibrant, stunning colors blended together so rhythmically, and so in sync that they feels as though they are coming out of the mind of one person, however, as you bask in the warm glow of the pastels, neons, and bright primaries, you can also see the dialogue between the two artists, and how they connect it artistically onto the canvas as a result.
