Family To Appeal For Clues Into Man's Death In West Hollywood

The 65-year-old was found lying in the street after an argument with another man.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – Detectives and family members of a 65-year-old homeless man who died in May in West Hollywood will appeal to the public Thursday for information about his death.

George McKinney had been involved in an argument with another man on the afternoon of May 23, a Wednesday, and was found lying in the street. McKinney was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead the following day, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The man with whom McKinney argued is considered a person of interest in the case. He was last seen driving away from the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Hilldale Street, the sheriff's department reported.
