Fred Segal to Open Flagship Store at CIM Group's West Hollywood Development

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- CIM Group on Monday announced a long-term lease with Fred Segal for a 22,000-square-foot flagship store that will anchor the ground floor retail area of a residential building at the apex of Sunset and La Cienega boulevards.
Fred Segal Sunset will flank the interior plaza of the 8500 Sunset development that will be adjacent to a hotel, The James West Hollywood, with 286 rooms in two 10-story towers.
"Fred Segal's trademark flair for boutique retail is a strong addition to the vibrant Sunset Strip and sets the standard for the level of quality that we are bringing to 8500 Sunset," said CIM Group co-founder Shaul Kuba.

Shoppers will find fashion, accessories, fragrance and beauty products, beauty and health services, furniture and home interior items. Fred Segal Sunset will also feature a cafe by San Francisco's Tartine, as well as a fitness studio, salon, wine shop, florist and indoor/outdoor restaurant by Los Angeles restaurateur Bill Chait.
8500 Sunset's outdoor plaza will be utilized by Fred Segal for fashion presentations, performances and other events.

The 8500 Sunset development will feature about 190 residences in two eight-story towers and offer a total of 42,000 square feet of ground level retail along on Sunset Boulevard and La Cienega.
