High Winds Knocked Over Trees in West Hollywood, Damaging Cars
The winds also caused downed power lines on the West Hollywood-Beverly Hills border.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA - Several cars were seriously damaged Thursday night by a fallen tree caused by high winds in West Hollywood but no one was injured.
The tree fell around 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Laurel Avenue, near Santa Monica and Crescent Heights boulevards, according to the watch commander at the sheriff's West Hollywood Station, who did not give his name.
The tree remained in the street as midnight approached.

The winds also caused downed power lines on the West Hollywood-Beverly Hills border and a crew from Southern California Edison was called to make repairs, the watch commander said.
