MADE to REBEL was started by Matthew Gonzalez and Michael Volkar, two West Hollywood residents, one with a business background, the other a fashion designer.
The idea came to us after seeing so many mass manufactured graphic t-shirts. We wanted to see more t-shirts that were original and artistic. We loved the idea of creating stylish and conceptual designs.
About 6 months ago, after talking and throwing ideas around, turns out we both agreed we wanted to stand out and "wear the shirt that no one has". So that’s when we decided - let's just make them!
