Makom LA with Chazan Danny Maseng Finds New Home at Hollywood Temple Beth El

Hollywood Temple Beth El will host MAKOM LA, The House of Song and Prayer with Chazzan Danny Maseng, a new spiritual community for the city of Los Angeles, according to Temple President Marcelo Kupferwasser

MAKOM LA will conduct its own series of services, twice monthly on Friday evenings and once monthly on Shabbat mornings while Hollywood Temple Beth El will continue to conduct its program of Shabbat services, led by Rabbi Norbert Weinberg, on a weekly basis. In addition, the two groups will host unique and moving special events that will meet the Jewish and personal needs of the diverse community of this dynamic and vibrant part of Los Angeles.

MAKOM LA will host its next service at Hollywood Temple Beth El on Friday evening, August 14. In addition, there will be joint events, such as Neilah of Yom Kippur, Sukkoth, Simhat Torah and Chanukah celebrations .

Hollywood Temple Beth El is located at 1317 N Crescent Heights, West Hollywood, at the corner of Fountain Ave.
