Man Fatally Shot In Fairfax District West Hollywood: LAPD

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – A man has been shot and killed in the area of Melrose and Sierra Bonita avenues in the Fairfax district, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, which was reported about 5:45 p.m., according to Los Angeles police Officer Mike Lopez. No suspect information was immediately available and it was unclear if the shooting was gang-related, Lopez said.

A man who fled the scene in a black SUV was being sought, Lopez said.
