Netflix-Themed Marijuana Pop-up Comes To West Hollywood
"Arrested Development," "Bojack Horseman" and "Orange is the New Black" are among the 10 shows that got special themed marijuana strains.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – A marijuana pop-up shop appeared in West Hollywood over the weekend, with packaging based on various Netflix shows, such as "Arrested Development," "Bojack Horseman" and "Orange is the New Black," according to DeZeen. The publicity stunt was in promotion of the new marijuana-themed Netflix show, "Disjointed," with three strains inspired by the new series.
Netflix teamed up with California dispensary Alternative Herbal Health Services and creative agency Carrot, a digital agency that's part of the Vice network, to produce the themed weed, Variety reported.
“Each strain was cultivated with the specific shows in mind, designed to complement each title based on their tone,” a press release stated, noting that Poussey Riot (an "Orange is the New Black" reference) was for “kicking it with somebody talking, and making mad stupid jokes.”

The products were available only to medical marijuana cardholders, and Netflix did not profit from the sales, according to Ganjapreneur.
