Celebrating the completion and revitalization of the infamous Sunset Strip, classic cars lead the grand reopening of the newly remade roadway. Sunset Boulevard just underwent a facelift with a $5.4 million beautification project.
Pedestrians exploring the local shops and popular restaurants will find newly repaved and wider sidewalks, trees and medians. New traffic signals and parking meter upgrades allow easy access to parking and payment with credit cards.
West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman thanked the community for their patience as he announced the timely completion of the Sunset Strip beautification project.

Following a ribbon cutting ceremony outside the Andaz Hotel, locals, visitors and artists enjoyed the Sunset Strip block party, featuring patio parties, extended shopping hours, live music, fine dining and new artist instillations along the boulevard.
