Power Restored After Vault Fire In West Hollywood
More than 2,300 customers were without power at the peak of the power outage.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – Crews restored power Thursday morning to the remaining 168 West Hollywood Southern California Edison customers who were knocked offline due to a fire in an electrical vault.
Power was restored about 1:45 a.m., SCE reported. At the peak of the outage, 2,377 customers were without power.
No one was injured as a result of the fire, which was reported about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Firefighters conducted a slew of elevator rescues Wednesday afternoon due to the power outage, a fire department dispatch supervisor said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
