San Diego-Based Startup Piggyback Expands to Los Angeles and Silicon Valley

Piggyback to serve new service areas within less than six months since inception

Piggyback, a crowd shipping mobile application that enables users to find available drivers that are willing to pick up and deliver personal or commercial goods, expands services to Los Angeles and Silicon Valley in addition to operations in San Diego.

Plans to develop operations in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley were initiated by the company’s rapid growth within its driver network. The expansion to the new service areas allows Piggyback to serve a total of three markets since its launch in October 2015. Piggyback has also announced plans to commence operations in New Jersey.

“We are honored to serve Los Angeles and Silicon Valley within less than six months since our San Diego launch,” said Piggyback Founder & CEO John Renison. “It’s an important step in scaling our mobile application nationally, and the demand in the new services areas demonstrates a growing need for same-day delivery.”
