The Society for the Activation of Social Space through Art and Sound (SASSAS) hosts a special concert by Oakland-based experimental duo myrmyr. Known for creating entrancing ambiences and intricate layered melodies, myrmyr has a foundation of violin and cello, then produce classical songs inspired by folk elements. The show is at 5 p.m. in . $12.

Held 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Community Center in , this event has booths with college reps as well as workshops and panel discussion. The college prep fair is gear toward both teen and adult learners. The has lots of laughs planned as comics Owen Benjamin and Iliza Shlesinger team up for a show. Benjamin has been a regular on Punk’d, Chelsea Lately and even had his own Comedy Central Special. Shlesinger is the younger and first female to win on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.
