Stolen Truck Crashes into West Hollywood Storefront, Suspect Still Outstanding

The truck had been stolen a short time earlier from where it was parked at Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards, authorities said.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A stolen construction truck crashed into a storefront in West Hollywood on Friday, and the driver got out and ran off, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 3:45 a.m. at Santa Monica Boulevard and Croft Avenue, according to a deputy at the sheriff's West Hollywood Station.

The truck had been stolen a short time earlier from where it was parked at Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards, the deputy said.
