Strong Winds Damage 3 West Hollywood Apartments

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- Strong winds Monday blew scaffolding from a high-rise building under construction into an apartment building next door, damaging three units, authorities said.
The incident was reported about 4:30 a.m. at 8277 West Fountain Ave., Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Jeremy Stafford said.
The three damaged apartments were evacuated, Stafford said. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were on the scene clearing debris from the area.
Fountain Avenue was shut down between Sweetzer and Harper avenues, Stafford said.
