Reiss-Davis Child Study Center and Institute’s Training Programs
The Reiss-Davis Child Study Center’s, Reiss-Davis Institute, offering doctoral, postdoctoral and postgraduate programs was established to address the need for highly qualified mental health professionals in Los Angeles, across the country and around the world. Through our postgraduate/post-doctoral fellowship programs, students learn to meet the diagnostic and therapeutic needs of a myriad of young people already in crisis, while our doctoral students learn to do psychological research and are encouraged to explore evidenced-based projects and studies to further the field of neurobiological, psychodynamic developmental work with children and adolescents. Both our Fellows and doctoral students also have the opportunity to learn about psychological diagnostic testing assessment of young people to help establish what each young client may need for an appropriate mental, emotional and educational plan of intervention.
