The city’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission will host an Arts Grant Workshop at 6 p.m. in . The workshop will review and answer questions about the 2013 Arts Grants Program application process and grant requirements.

The city’s Planning Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber in the One of the items on the agenda is an application to change the conditional use permit for the (8226 Sunset Blvd.) from a restaurant to a bar. Another item is a request from (7750 Santa Monica Blvd.) to relocate the business to the vacant space next door.
The Sunset Strip is the happening place on Thursday nights thanks to the , a certified farmers’ market that also features live music and cooking demonstrations. This week the Market will include a special chef dinner presented by Rosa Mexicana Live music is by Fleeting Heart, Frankie Palmer and Anny Celsi.
