Greetings and welcome to City Scoop. Today is Tuesday, July 24, the 206th day of 2012. Here’s what’s going on in West Hollywood today.
Country music has long had a tradition of crafting songs “ The idea is that a group of singer-songwriters gets on stage; one performs a song, followed by the next, and the next, etc. As each plays, the others are often inspired to add harmonies, a guitar riff or some percussion. This process often enhances the work or takes the writer in a new direction. Witness this in-the-round process first-hand as Genghis Cohen has veteran Nashville songwriters Jane Bach and Sandra Piller take the stage, joined by Kelly Fitzgerald and Joey Sykes.
