Two Arrested at DUI Checkpoint

Two drivers suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and another who allegedly possessed illegal drugs were arrested during a n West Hollywood, authorities said today.

The checkpoint was operated Friday on San Vicente Boulevard, just north of Beverly Boulevard, and 777 vehicles were checked, according to Detective Daniel A. Dail of the sheriff's Traffic Services Detail.

Three drivers with suspended licenses were also arrested and 10 drivers without licenses were arrested, Dail said.

Three vehicles were impounded for 30 days, five were stored for a day and five vehicles were released to the registered owners, Dail said
