Water Main Ruptures In West Hollywood Area

About 40 customers lost service, some of which were restaurants and other businesses, and roadway was damaged.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – An 8-inch water main ruptured today in the Fairfax Village area, knocking out service to about 40 customers, including restaurants and other businesses, and flooding a street. It was reported around 4 a.m. in the 600 block of La Cienega Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Crews shut off the flow of water in order to work to repair the pipe and section of the roadway that was damaged.
