WeHo Hopefuls Face Tough Questions, Hecklers At Forum: Report

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Amid a barrage of campaign mailers, emails, texts and phone calls West Hollywood voters have received from a field of 14 City Council candidates, a forum Sunday featured rounds of tough questions and at times, heckling, over key issues in this year's election, WeHo Online reported.

The invitation list remained an issue, and candidate Larry Block brought it up right away, according to the local news website. Candidates Kyle Brazeal, Councilwoman Chelsea Byers, Jonathan Cottrell, former Councilman John Duran and Helen Krieger also participated in the forum.

Questions focused on the city’s spending, public safety, immigration enforcement, as well as potential conflicts of interest, according to WeHo Online.

The additional candidates running are Kody Christiansen, Tom DeMille, Chiedu Egbuniwe, Alden “Marlon” Gobel, Kevin Ligon, Stephen Post, Tanya Tsikanovsky and Joel Zaldivar, the website reported.

WeHo West President Jonathan Finestone moderated the forum.
