Upset Weho Neighbor's Note to Rebel Wilson Read on TV

Australian actress, who recently moved into West Hollywood with fellow actor Matt Lucas, tells Conan O'Brien how her late-night singing of show tunes prompted a threatening review from an anonymous neighbor.

In West Hollywood, it doesn't matter that you've been in a hit movie.... If you're going to sing show tunes around the pool and hot tub late at night—especially songs from Annie! — be prepared to hear it from the neighbors.

Rebel Wilson, one of the stars of the movie Bridesmaids, said she got that message dropped in her mailbox soon after moving here with fellow actor Matt Lucas.

Wilson was on the Conan O'Brien show on Wednesday (Aug. 29) and read an anonymous, "freaky" note she received from a neighbor who is "living somewhere behind you.”

Wilson kept reading:

"If you continue to make noise past 10 p.m., I will call the cops. We have rules here in West Hollywood. Seriously.... And stop singing show tunes from “Annie.” Both of you are too old to ever be cast as child orphans. The sun will come out tomorrow? Yeah, and so will the cops! ... Welcome to the neighborhood.”

If you're the neighbor who wrote the note to Wilson, we'd love to hear whether her renditions of songs from Oklahoma and Fiddler on the Roof were any better.
