Men Robbed Outside of West Hollywood Urth Caffé, Over $30,000 In Property Stolen

Over $30,000 was stolen from an Urth Caffé in West Hollywood on Monday.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – Over $30,000 of property was robbed outside of an Urth Caffé in West Hollywood after two gunmen approached a group of men near the restaurant last night. The suspects demanded property from the group of victims and got away with a watch worth $30,000, among other items. The group then flagged down officers and told them they had been held at gunpoint, according to CBS Los Angeles.

About 10 minutes after the incident, residents called 911 to report two suspicious men running near Willoughby and Croft, Sheriff’s Deputy Charles Duncan said to WeHoVille. Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies and Beverly Hills police set up a perimeter in the area in search of the suspects, but they were believed to have fled the scene, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Update: This story was updated to reflect a change in the net worth of the stolen property. A previous version of this story claimed over $40,000 in property damage had been stolen, however, authorities have now confirmed that the number is $30,000.
