WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – The West Hollywood Sheriff's Station had a busy week last week, with multiple burglaries, thefts, and robberies. There were 15 burglaries, two accounts of grand theft, and one robbery throughout the week. Were any of the reported crimes in your neighborhood? September 4th
Vehicle Burglary
1000 block N Orlando Avenue
09/04/2017 @ 11:15 am. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing a passport and $150 cash from the rear floorboard. Loss $700. #04778

8000 block Norton Avenue
09/04/2017 @ 7:00 pm - 7:00 am. An unknown suspect removed one pair of sunglasses from the center console. No sign of forced entry. Loss $400. #04830

Strong Arm Robbery
Havenhurst Drive / Santa Monica Blvd
09/05/2017 @ 10:00 pm. A man was walking on Santa Monica Blvd when he was punched in the face by a man. The suspect demanded property from the victim and the victim complied. Loss $1400. #04831

- A man used an unlocked door to gain entry and was discovered by an employee when she reported for work. The suspect removed a laptop computer and fled the location after being seen by the employee.

- An unknown suspect forced the rear window open and removed the vehicle’s third row bench seat.

- A man was walking EB on Santa Monica Blvd when a man approached him and punched him one time in the face. The suspect then fled the area in an unknown direction.

- Two men smashed the rear window but were scared away by witnesses.

- A man removed a watch from the display case and left the store without payment.

- An unknown suspect removed a purse containing a wallet and cell phone that was left momentarily unattended on a bench inside of the club.
