West Hollywood To Host Citywide Yard Sale
Help the environment by reducing your waste and buying secondhand. Register your yard sale at City Hall by August 10.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – West Hollywood is hosting a Citywide Yard Sale on August 18 and 19 throughout the city. Residents are invited to take part by hosting a sale, visiting with neighbors, and helping the environment by reducing waste, according to the City press release.
The City will provide a listing of registered yard sales with locations and hours of all participants on the City's website. That way buyers can map their routes ahead of time, and sellers don't need to waste their time posting yard sale signs. Participation does not count against the City’s limit of two garage sale permits per year, according to the press release.
“The Citywide Yard Sale is a great way for residents throughout the City to clean-out garages and storage spaces and pass along usable household items so they’re not thrown away and headed to a landfill,” said Councilmember Lauren Meister. “It will also be a fun way to make some extra cash, hang out with neighbors, and build community.”
