Wishing On a Star To Be a Star This Christmas

The Quadrupulet Sisters of FourEver1

Identical quadruplets Jodi, Catherine, Christina, and Janelle Pyfrom know what they want for Christmas this year. Pop stardom!

Known collectively as the all-girl pop singing group FOUREVER1, the natives of Bahamas currently call Hollywood home. They were brought here by their manager, American Idol music master Randy Jackson, who signed the singing sisters after his team discovered them on YouTube. Jackson executive produced their first single, “All About Tonight”; a sexy, turn-down-the-lights, turn-up-the-heat club jam that has been popular on dance floors since its release this fall.

“These girls are the next Fifth Harmony,” declares DJ Sean Finn, a dance music producer and radio host whose remix of “All About Tonight” is rising up the club charts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. “Sure, being quads makes them interesting, but it’s their unique Bahamian spice that really makes FOUREVER1 so special in America and now abroad,” he says.

“Our song encourages people to pursue their dreams,” explains Jodi Pyfrom. “Work hard, have fun, believe in yourself and don’t ever let anyone change you.”

It’s a message that has worked for the Pyfroms. They say they make sure each sister’s uniqueness shines in FOUREVER1. Quiet, introspective Christina is the group’s primary songwriter and style conscious fashionista. Janelle is the business-minded sister who goes over all of their paperwork with a fine-toothed comb. Both play piano for the group.

Guitarist Catherine is the video conceptualist and the group’s peacemaker, and drummer Jodi is the stern, no-nonsense closer who makes sure all the girls of FOUREVER1 remain on course.

“We are blessed to have Randy (Jackson) on our side,” continues Jodi. “He has given us so many opportunities we wouldn’t have had on our own.”

They have encountered hurdles. For girls used to the laid back island mentality of the Bahamas, the chaos of Tinseltown can be hard to get used to. “Things often come up at a moment’s notice and we have to quickly shift our schedules to accommodate them,” says Jodi. “Not that we’re complaining. Keeping busy is good! And we have each other to remind ourselves to pray and keep our eyes on the prize."

The sisters are excited to spend the holidays with their family back home in the Bahamas. But come January 2, they’ll return to Los Angeles to continue working towards their pop stardom dream. At least until their New Years wish comes true.

“Our new year's wish is to tour Europe!” reveals Jodi.
