We are asking our city leaders to protect rural Wildomar by stopping high density residential development that conflicts with the Wildomar Vision and General Plan in 2008 and 2040.

Wildomar should remain a place where open space, rural character, and a slower way of life are respected. High density development can put too much pressure on roads, street lights (Palomar Observatory compliance chapter 8.64) water, sewers, fire, police, schools and other services, and the natural feel of the area. It can also change how neighborhoods look and feel, bringing more crowding and less space between homes and land. Once that rural character is lost, it is impossible to bring back.

The Wildomar Vision and General Plan 2040 should guide growth in a way that fits the community, not override it. Projects that do not match that plan create real concern for residents who want thoughtful development instead of rapid change that alters the city’s identity. We believe Wildomar deserves planning that protects existing neighborhoods, respects the land, and keeps the community’s rural nature intact.

We are asking for responsible decision-making that puts the Wildomar Vision and General Plan 2040 first. Please reject high density residential subdivisions that conflict with that vision, and support land use choices that preserve the character, balance, and livability of rural Wildomar for the people who live here now and for those who will come after us.
