2 Children Among 10 Injured in Multi-Car Crash on 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills

The accident reportedly occurs near Valley Circle Boulevard shortly after 1 p.m.

Two children were ejected from a vehicle and injured Saturday in a crash, that injured a total of 10 people on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills, a city fire official said.

The crash was reported at 1:07 p.m. on the eastbound 101 at Valley Circle Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Four adults and six children were injured in the crash, Humphrey said, including two children who were ejected from a vehicle.

Only one eastbound lane was open one hour after the wreck was reported, and the cause of the crash was under investigation. The condition of the victims is unknown at this time.
