Brush Fire Scorches Griffith Park
More than 100 city firefighters tackled a three to five acre blaze at Griffith Park Saturday.

A brush fire scorched between three and five acres in Griffith Park today, but no one was injured and no structures were threatened.
The blaze was reported about 2:25 p.m. near the 4900 block of Griffith Park Drive, Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
More than 100 city firefighters, assisted by Los Angeles County, Burbank and Glendale units, attacked the flames from the ground and air and had the fire out in 1 hour, 37 minutes, Scott said.
