Brushfire Scorches 2 Acres in Woodland Hills
Firefighters quickly tackled a two-acre brushfire near Victory Boulevard at Country Oak Road.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA - Fire burned about two acres of brush in Woodland Hills today, but there were no structures threatened by the blaze.
Firefighters dispatched at 12:08 p.m. to Victory Boulevard at Country Oak Road had the brush fire out within 35 minutes of their arrival, with initial water drop assistance from Los Angeles County Fire Air Operations, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Mop-up is expected to take about 90 minutes, Stewart said.
