Cal State Northridge Police on Lookout for Library Creep

Police are looking for a man who invaded "the personal space" of a student by crawling under the table and reaching his cell to her ankles.

California State University Northridge police said today they were looking for a man who invaded “the personal space” of a student who was sitting at a desk studying in Oviatt Library.

The victim was studying about 1 p.m. on Monday when she felt something push on her ankle, CSUN police reported. She looked under the desk and saw a man kneeling with a cellphone in hand extended toward her.

The same thing occurred a short time later, and again she saw the same suspect.

He was described as in his early 20s, 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 150 to 170 pounds.
