CHP Issues Amber Alert for 2 Children Last Seen in Northridge Area
The biological mother allegedly abducted them, but then she showed up Wednesday night disoriented and alone. Now she's gone again.

An Amber alert has been issued two children, allegedly abducted by her biological mother from the home where they were living in their grandmother’s custody, the California Highway Patrol announced today.
The two children remain at large after she returned to her mother’s Exposition Park residence Wednesday night -- but without the kids, police said.
The two asthmatic children, a 9-year-old girl and her 8-year-old brother, were taken from the home in the 1700 block of West 35th Place around 3 p.m. Monday, said Los Angeles police Officer Jane Kim.

Police sought public help to find them, and said Ameenah Rasheedah Freeman, 37, may be driving a maroon 2011 Ford Edge with paper plates with “Airport Marina” written on them.
