Did You Feel It? 3.0 Quake Shakes Region

A magnitude-3.0 earthquake recorded this afternoon was centered 13 miles west-northwest of Santa Clarita and six miles northwest of Val Verde, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of any injuries or damage related to the temblor that hit at 4:11 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
