Explosives Found In West Hills Home

The Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad overnight detonated explosives that were found at a home in West Hills.

WEST HILLS, CA — A Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad Thursday detonated explosives found inside a home in West Hills.

Officers were called to a home in the 7600 block of Royer Avenue, between Lull and Stagg Streets, around 9 p.m. Wednesday, and discovered the explosives, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Around 2 a.m. Thursday, the bomb squad safely detonated the explosives, ABC7 reported.

There was no immediate word on arrests.
