FDA Approves First Libido Pill for Women

FDA Approves First Libido Pill for Women: The Food and Drug Administration has approved Addyi, the first prescription drug designed to boost sexual desire in women - but the pill does come with a side effect - it may cause fainting if combined with alcohol.

Good grief, it can cause fainting if combined with alcohol? They may as well just ask Bill Cosby to be their spokesperson. I hear he’s already advocating putting it into the water supply.

In related news, a recent survey estimates that 8-14% of women suffer from a low libido condition. Perhaps, but the condition seems to affect ALL married women. In fact researchers say this pill is specifically designed to counter the effects of the most powerful female sexual inhibitor ever known - the wedding cake.

Of course, if it doesn’t work, then everyone who the paid big bucks for this pill will really get screwed. Oddly, the article doesn’t mention if the medication is taken orally or as a suppository and if prostitutes will be eligible for volume discounts? One thing’s for certain, this is sure gonna give new meaning to the old question “are you on the pill?”
