Fire Damages Woodland Hills Home

A two-story hillside home was scorched in a fire that took firefighters 40 minutes to put out.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA - A fire damaged a two-story hillside home under renovation in the Woodland Hills area Monday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters sent to the 5000 block of Tendilla Avenue shortly before 1 p.m. extinguished the flames in about 40 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
