Good news for folks who are hitting the road for the holiday: The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline fell in Los Angeles County Tuesday for the 48th straight day.
Gas dropped seven-tenths of a cent, falling to around $3.74 countywide— which is the lowest it's been since January 21—but in Woodland Hills, it's even lower. Find it in the neighborhood for as low as $3.57 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy.com, gas is available for that price at the Arco station at 6310 Fallbrook Ave. at Sylvan Street. Find it for two cents less in Canoga Park at the Arco station at 20951 Vanowen St. at Independence Avenue, while the least expensive gas in neighboring Calabasas is above the county average at $3.79 a gallon (and if you're so inclined, you can find it at the Shell station at 4831 Las Virgenes Road).
