Here are some events and activities taking place in and around the neighborhood this weekend.

We know you don't always stay in the neighborhood for the weekend, so here are some events and activities taking place Saturday and Sunday in town and nearby.
A Faery Hunt: Come and join Nickelodeon's Parents' Pick Award for "Best Children's Theater in Los Angeles.With the help of the faery folke, the children embark on an exciting interactive adventure. In a gentle and fun way, the audience actually become part of the story. The shows are for children, boys and girls, and the young-at-heart. Most of the children come in costume. There is something for the whole family in this interactive original show that takes place Saturday at 10 a.m. at Griffith Park, 2333 Fern Dell Place, Los Angeles. Tickets are $15. Little French Flea Market: More than 25 vendors will bring there treasures, including linens, shabby rustic, cottage chick and French style decor, to a shady park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 19130 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana. Admission is $2.

"Non-Boring" Original Opera: OperaWorks presents its 16th original three-act opera weaving well-known arias and improvised dialogue into a new storyline. The performance is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge. Tickets are $25 general admission and $20 for students and seniors.
Tangled: The Valley Cultural Center's Movies on the Green series features a free screening of Disney's Tangled at 7 p.m. Saturday at Warner Center Park, at Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Califa Street.

Topanga Vintage Market: This relatively new outdoor market features hot vintage items and items made out of them. It takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Westfield Promenade, 6100 Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Admission is $2 for adults; children 11 and younger are free.
