Beauty and the Beast: Fairy Tales in the Park presents this free show at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Westlake Village at Foxfield Park, 31965 Foxfield Drive. The show is designed to run about 45 minutes, which coincides with the attention span of its targeted group: 3-10 year olds.
Measure for Measure: Theatricum Botanicum presents with a twist: Director Ellen Geer has re-set the play in the turbulent 1960s. The show begins at 4 p.m. Saturday at 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd, Topanga. Tickets are $33 for adults, $10 for children. Other discounts may apply.

Much Ado About Nothing: The Kingsmen Shakespeare Company performs the bard's comedy outdoors at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (grounds open at 5:30 p.m. for pre-show picnicking and entertainment) at Cal Lutheran University. Parking is off Mt. Clef Boulevard. Ticket, which are available at the door, are $20 for adults. Children under 18 get in free.
Run for the Kids 5K: The Irving B. Deutschman Foundation For Children’s Cancer Research is holding its first at 8 a.m. Sunday at Woodley Park, 6330 Woodley Avenue, Encino. Registration forms can be found online at www.lgracemgt.com and online registration is available at www.active.com. Awards ceremony to follow the race. Awards are given to the first three finishers in each age division and all kids run participants.
