Update: Police Call Off Search for Gunman at Warner Center

No gunman was found in a search conducted in response to an armed man.

Police on Monday afternoon completed a search of a building in the 6300 block of Owensmouth Avenue in the Warner Center of Woodland Hills after receiving a report of a possible man with a gun.

The call came into the Los Angeles Police Department at about 3:30 p.m. and police immediately surrounded the buildings at Farmers Plaza and evacuated them.

The search was completed with no gunman found at about 4:30 p.m., according to officials with the LAPD media relations department.
