LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters Monday quickly extinguished a quarter- acre brush fire in the Browns Canyon area near Porter Ranch, and no structures were threatened. The fire was reported shortly before 9 a.m. near Browns Canyon Road, according to the county fire department. No injuries were reported.
