SigAlert: 1 Killed in 101 Freeway Crash
A crash involving a stalled BMW on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Studio City left one person dead Monday morning.
STUDIO CITY, CA -- One person was killed Monday in a vehicle crash on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Studio City, authorities said.
The crash at 5:12 a.m. on the westbound Ventura Freeway at Laurel Canyon Boulevard was reported to have involved a stalled vehicle, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Online information indicates the vehicle was a white BMW.

The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down the westbound Ventura Freeway at Laurel Canyon Boulevard. The slow lane was reopened about 6:15 a.m., the CHP reported.
