Special Needs Network, a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to the needs of underserved families struggling with raising a child with developmental disabilities, will be hosting the 8th Annual Legislative Breakfast on April 11 from 8-11 a.m. This breakfast is part of the Tools for Transformation Conference, which is the largest autism, ADHD, mental health and other developmental disabilities conference of its kind. This year the breakfast will focus on the connection between quality early education, the achievement gap and the need to build a workforce for the economy of the future. Guest speakers include State Senator - Kevin de Leon, Supervisor - Mark Ridley-Thomas and State Senator - Holly Mitchell.
