Suspicious Package Prompts Woodland Hills Evacuation
The 5600 block of Manton Avenue in Woodland Hills was under evacuation as police investigated a suspicious package.

Updated at 12:30 p.m.: The bomb squad has removed a suspicious package that was found in the 5600 block of Manton Avenue in the Woodland Hills area, and the area is now safe, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Los Angeles Police Department had evacuated the 5600 block of Manton Avenue due to the suspicious package.
The item was first reported at 8:30 a.m., and officers rerouted traffic away from the area, said LAPD Officer Drake Madison.
